the hampton inn has great facilities like an indoor pool and a fitness center. it’s conveniently located next to al t's steakhouse, the best restaurant around. the staff was friendly during check-in, which was a nice beginning to our stay. overall, it’s the best hotel option in the area.

The air conditioning struggled. it was pretty humid, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. The pool room was uncomfortably hot, with no air circulation, and I noticed some cleanliness issues like hairs in the tub and a sticky floor. Additionally, breakfast lacked variety and quality.

The location is convenient for road travel, and the cleanliness of the room stood out. Unfortunately, the service at the front desk felt off, leading to a frustrating check-in experience. Additionally, the breakfast options were stale, with the same offerings every day and lackluster quality. Despite the nice room, the overall experience did not meet expectations.

Sipping my sweet tea and munching on fried chicken from Hartz Chicken Buffet nearby was heavenly! I also loved the easy access to Whataburger for late-night cravings. The hotel staff did their best, but the place could use some updating.

Staff was warm and genuinely friendly. They welcomed us like family when we arrived, made us forget a long drive plus the free breakfast was a gold mine of choices, so tasty and fresh.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but given the service and comfort, it was still reasonable.
